Hilltops Nebbiolo
Wine
Ravensworth Hilltops Nebbiolo is sourced from the Hilltops region, north-east of the Murrumbateman winery. The soils are decomposed granite and red loam clay.
The fruit is fermented as whole berries in large oak vats. After 6-8 months of post ferment maceration on skins, the wine is pressed for maturation. It receives no filtration at bottling.
Deep red, Ravensworth Hilltops Nebbiolo has layered red fruit flavours and a slight savoury twist, finishing with long tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
